It’s fall. A season that naturally always brings change. The leaves change color, the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter.
This fall is bringing a lot of changes to my life as I am pleased to announce that I’ll be making the big move from my childhood home in Astoria, Queens in New York to a small city home to less than 40,000 in Central Wisconsin called Wausau. Starting on October 8th, I’ll be serving the area as a sports multimedia journalist for WAOW-TV, Newsline 9.
I’ll be doing a little bit of everything for the “Official Packers Station”, from shooting and editing to reporting and anchoring sports. I’m excited to move to a new town and explore the Midwest. More importantly, I can’t wait to uncover some of the area’s best athletes and help tell their story.
I want to thank everyone who has gotten me this far, from my family and my professors at Newhouse, and to all my friends and colleagues who have given me feedback and helped me get better.
Look out for some of my work in the near future. For now, my bags are packed and I’m on my way on this new journey, ready for the next chapter.
